After I installed wordpress in English, I found the temporary post named as ‘Hello world’.
I felt ‘HELLO, WORLD! LONG TIME NO SEE!’ in real. I didn’t use blog (and this domain) for a quite long time..
When I count the period after I stopped the blog using ‘textcube’, It’s more than 5 years. And I found that I made up my mind to use wordpress, and installed it in my space in 2022. When I re-installed wordpress program just before, I saw a post written in November 24th, 15:26:08. (So I write ‘this post is originally written in November 2022.) It means.. after I decided to use wordpress blog, I didn’t publish any post for a 15 months. lol
I got some idea for post few days ago, I can start my blog fortunately. I didn’t write blog post for several years. So.. maybe.. there is no guest in this time. I think it is good to write my thought with an easy mind.
The first topic is 「Why I returned with wordpress (even it is almost first time to use it)」.
Actually, I used to textcube blogger. Sometimes I used naver blog or tistory. It is first time to use wordpress in main blog. There is a reason to select wordpress, maybe. Actually, I can’t remember the specific situation in Nov. 2022. But I remember that the textcube, the installable blog tool is not update for several years so it is not working in recent PHP / SQL version. So I have to use another blog tool, I choose the wordpress because,
It is most widely used in world
Accordint to w3techs, 43% of web pages in the world is written in wordpress. (And the wordpress occupied 63% of world web market.) This number is 10 times bigger than 2nd place. (The wordpress tool shoes difference in order.) I think it is too big to fail. Because my first blog tool was so small and could not last long time, I want to use global blog tool to last long time.
And I found that the wordpress can make various web pages (not only for blog)
The above statistics shows not world wide ‘blog’ pages, but ‘web’ pages. The wordpress shows everything according to use theme, plug-in. Many big companies already use wordpress to make their home page. I am familiar to use blog, so I will use blog type theme. But when I want to change, I will install new theme, new plug-in. This page will be changed significantly, I expect.
I think I can’t change blog tool any more. So I will settle down in most widely used one.
It is not easy to write post using wordpress tool. But I will use it well sometimes. 🙂
